Strathearn Historical Park is one of the many parks managed by the Rancho Simi Recreation and Park District. As such it is open to the public, free of charge, Monday through Friday from 9:00am until 3:00pm. It’s also open Saturday and Sunday from 1:00pm until 4:00pm.
But unlike most parks, it’s also an Historical Park. Stepping into our park is truly like stepping back in time.
Whether you want to sit under the shade of the ancient trees surrounding the historic buildings or jog around the park, this beautiful 6½ acre park is for you.
While you’re here, come on into the Visitors Center and have a look around. The Visitors Center is always open during normal Park hours and a friendly member of the Historical Society is there to answer your questions. Pick up a copy of our Park Guide
To dive more deeply in to Simi history, join a Docent led tour through our buildings starting at 1:30 on Friday, Saturday and Sundays. Reservations are not required. However, you can schedule larger groups by calling (805) 526-6453. The Park will occasionally be closed due to inclement weather, special events and National Holidays. A quick check of our Home Page will alert you to these closures.
We’re located at 137 Strathearn Place in Simi Valley.
