Can I schedule a private tour of the historic buildings?
Yes, with enough notice, special tours can be arranged for groups. We request a $5 donation per person for private tours and at least two weeks advance notice.
Are the buildings open to the public?
Yes. Docents regularly provide tours through the buildings on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Tours begin at 1:00pm on Fridays and 1:30pm on Saturdays and Sundays. No reservations are required. A $5 per person donation is requested to help support the Historical Society. The buildings are closed to the public Monday through Thursday. However, the Park is open to the public seven days a week free
Can I become a member of the Historical Society?
Yes and we would appreciate your support. Individual membership is $15 a year and $25 for an entire family. With membership you will receive an electronic copy of the "Mail Cart" which is our quarterly newsletter. You'll also be invited to attend the Simi Valley Historical Society Annual Dinner.
