Ursula Rams
|
Ursula's first 22
years were spent on the family's small farm in northern Germany.
The farm grew wheat, rye, oats, sugar beets, potatoes and also
raised dairy cows. Her husband had a job offer from the City of
Los Angeles for a civil engineering position, so they lived in
Los Angeles until they bought their house in Simi Valley. Ursula
worked part time for the School District as a yard supervisor
and also in the cafeteria of Royal High School. She also worked
at the Gemco store and then took up nursing and volunteered at
Doctors Hospital. Ursula took the class with Pat Havens and is
very happy to show the public and Simi school children
Strathearn Historical Park. |
