Jerry Gravil
I was born in Glendale. I lived in the other valley and
spent all my time in the mountains of Chatsworth at my Grandparents
house. They raised cattle and horses that they bought from the Boyle
Family. I worked as a teamster's warehouseman in Northridge for 25
years. Then I became a brick and stone mason for 14 years until I was
disabled with osteo-arthritis and had a heart attack.
I raised four girls who are all married and I have 13
grandchildren.
I am
now a caregiver for my wife who is confined to bed and a docent at
Strathearn Park, and loving everything about life.
