Dennis and I have
lived in Simi Valley since 1968, where we raised our four
children, all Royal High graduates. Now all our offspring and
thirteen grandchildren are scattered across the country:
Colorado, Michigan, Alaska and Los Angeles. Being a retired schoolteacher, I have a love for kids and enjoy sharing with others: (I love to talk!). Having found an article in the local newspaper calling for docents at Strathearn Park, I picked up the phone and thus began my training and learning about all the exciting history, genuine buildings, and the caring people who are nurturing all this information. What makes this adventure so special are all the beautiful like-minded folks with whom I get to volunteer. Let's leep on sharing this "treasure park" with as many folks as we can to keep them coming back to learn more! Dorothy |
