Virgil A. Stites

Virgil became a docent in July 2003. He and his family moved to Simi Valley in 1964, coming from Westville, NJ. He and his wife, Jeanette have five children, sixteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Virgil's hobby is woodworking. Virgil is currently the president of Simi Valley Chapter 3605 of AARP. He is also a volunteer at Simi Valley Hospital as a Lifeline installer. He is a member of the Executive Board of the Council on Aging and the representative to the Ventura County Area Agency on Aging Advisory Council. Virgil is a 1970 graduate of Moorpark College and is a graduate of Redlands University. Jeanette and Virgil are members of the United Methodist Church of Simi Valley.
