Sandra Christopher

I became a docent in October 2005 after being inspired by Pat Haven's final "History of Simi Valley" class.  I have always enjoyed History and learning more of our local history has been enriching.
My husband, Dale and I have lived in Simi Valley since 1981 and are raising our six children (ages 3-22) here. After earning a BSN degree in 1981 and working as a nurse for several years, I have been a full-time mom and home educator for the past 18 years with our three oldest now in college. Our family are members of Lighthouse Bible Church of Simi Valley.
Becoming a docent brings opportunities to keep our local history alive as well as reminding me of my own Minnesota farm upbringing.
