Heather Wilcox

Heather Wilcox became a docent in February 2005.  Here is an opportunity to get acquainted with her. Her lifelong fascination with history and archeology surely accounts for her interest in joining us. Heather moved to Southern California in 1995 from the Chicago area where she was born and raised. She was hired as a professional referee for the West Coast Hockey League, and currently referees locally, nationally and internationally, which has enabled her to travel to nine different countries including communist Russia in 1990 and 1991. She is enjoying raising and training her children Connor (4 years old) and Chloe (1 ½).  She likes upholstering furniture and sewing when she has the time. Even though she is relatively new, she is inspired by the dedication that she senses within our historical society.
