GENE HAURY

Gene Haury is our Volunteer of the Month.  He has lived is Simi Valley since July 7, 1947.  The Haury family moved here from El Cerrito.

 He retired from Simi Valley Unified School District as a shop teacher.

 His hobbies are woodworking, photography and travel.

 Ray Drever got him interested in becoming a docent. 

 He volunteers with Food Share in the county and does other volunteer work for his church, Sonrise Christian Fellowship.
