We welcome your interest in joining us. You will undergo several sessions of training to become a Docent. Here are the basic requirements after you are trained.
            1. Join Simi Valley Historical Society & Museum (pay annual dues).
            2. Attend regular scheduled monthly Docent Meetings (usually about 2 hours).
            3. Work a minimum of one Saturday or Sunday per month OR two weekday tours per month (as needed/scheduled at meetings) for school and other tours.

THE TOTAL MINIMUM COMMITMENT IS FIVE TO SIX HOURS PER MONTH
Please note that many of our Docents work many more hours
than the minimum outlined above in order to fill our schedule of events.
HOWEVER, EVERY VOLUNTEER HOUR IS IMPORTANT TO US.
