I first came to Simi Valley in 1976 working on a
movie. I so fell in love with the community that I decided that one day
I would live here. I moved her in 1985 with my wife, Sharon, and we
began our family. I have two wonderful daughters, Chelsea (18) who will
graduate from Simi Valley High School this year, and Cassee (12) who
attends Valley View Middle School.
I worked for Walt Disney Imagineering for 23 years
building theme parks in Walt Disney World, Florida, Disneyland Paris and
Tokyo, Japan. I work now as a free lance Events Organizer, and Project
Manager. My wife is a private chef who has done several special events
around town and teaches cooking at the Simi Valley Park and Recreation
Department.
I have been very active in the community by serving
on Neighborhood Council #3 for one term and currently serving on the
Simi Valley Family YMCA Board of Manages as chairman of the Program
Committee. I became interested in becoming a Docent for Strathearn
Historical Park because of my love of themed environments/parks, history
and archeology. I love giving tours and telling about the history of
our great community.
